Spring has Sprung 4/25/21

Ahhhh Spring!
We love spring in Pittsburgh!   We also love the flavors and wonderfully fresh ingredients that Trevett Hooper imparts to all the food he creates.

We have been Trevett fans since he was supervising Pittsburgh’s smallest commercial kitchen at the original Regent Square Legume restaurant – and for years we have hoped to put together a dinner and support his fine efforts with all his restaurant iterations (Legume 1 / Legume 2 / Butterjoint / Various Pies for Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner/All Day), and we are so happy that, in the midst of a pandemic, we are able to support his restaurant and enjoy a beautiful spring dinner with Trevett Hooper!

We will have a Zoom gathering at 6:30pm.

Logistics 
We will send an email confirmation with pick up details. Dinners (with the wine) can be picked up on Sunday, April 25 between 3:00 – 4:00pm – location TBD (but East End).

Potato and Ramp Hand Pie

Wild Greens Soup (with chive crème fraîche and croutons)

Lamb With Rhubarb Chutney (shank and spring alliums ragout, Palestinian couscous)

Goose Egg Flan 

BOTTLES – yep – TWO BOTTLES – of wine 
For this round Jack has curated two wines (one white – one red).

  • White Wine – Enio Ottaviani ‘Mada’ Chardonnay Rubicone IGT Emilia-Romagna, Italy 2019 
  • Red Wine – Chateau Aimee Medoc Bordeaux France 2018

Please note that all sales are final. If you find you are unable to use your seats, please contact Kate and Jack and they will see if there is someone on the wait list who can use them (although this is not guaranteed).
